Error message: Warning!!! You are not linked to the default data file

The default data file is called

tatems2005be.mdb

The error message that says

" Warning!!! You are not linked to the default data file "

means you are not linked to the the proper data file
with the name above.

The warning is to let you know so that you don't start entering
new data into an old backup copy of your data file.

Close TATEMS then go to the

C:\Program Files\TATEMS 2005\

folder and see if there is a file in there called

tatems2005be.mdb

If not then when you were doing a backup it either failed
or was stopped midway by the end user.

Look for the most recent copy of the data file in that folder

Probably the one you were linked to.

It may have a name like

tatems2005be-01-15-2010-10-15-25.mdb

and then make a copy of that file.

Then rename the copy so that it is named

tatems2005be.mdb

Then re-open TATEMS and then click on Tools->Networking
then click on the open folder icon and navigate to
the

C:\Program Files\TATEMS 2005\

folder and then look for the file that you just renamed to

tatems2005be.mdb

Then double click on it,  then click the "Link Now" button and follow the prompts
on the screen.
