Error 1327 Invalid Drve: Drive :\ when installing TATEMS

The following error when installing TATEMS

 

Error 1327 Invalid Drive: Drive :\ (Some Drive Letter Other Than C:\)

 

Occurs when you have a registry entry in Windows pointing to the Drive letter that shows up in the error message. 

 

  1. Verify that the values under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders use valid drive letters.
  2. If there are invalid drive letters, not where they are currently pointing and then change them to point to C drive.
  3. Complete the TATEMS installation and then you can change them back to the other drive letters if you need to for some other program to work properly.

We found the PersonFolder property inside the above Key was pointing to the U:\  Drive on one customers computer
