Database Empty Probably Linked to Local Empty Database Re-link to Network data

If you open TATEMS and all your stuff is missing then you are a probably linked to the local empty database file that comes with TATEMS installation.

Your database should be on your network somewhere.

It could be on another workstation computer ot on a server.

You can re-link to it using the Networking tool by clicking on Tools->Networking

After you open the networking tool click the open folder icon

and then navigate to the file on your networkg called :

tatems2005be.mdb

and then double click on it and then once back in the networking tool that shows the current path click Link Now and follow the prompts.

Then close the networking tool then TATEMS will restart, and you'll be link to your shared database file.

Do not link to a backup like this:

tatems2005be-12-24-2021-5-00.mdb

You can look at the networking tool on someone else's computer running TATEMS to see where the database file is stored

***Note: If you don't see the .mdb file extenion at the end of the file name when you try to navigate to it do this:

In windows open file explorer and at the the top of click on view and check the box that says File Name Extentions

Here it is in Windows 11

And here it is on Windows 10
