The Virtual Store in Windows Vista and in Windows 7 can cause updating issues and database location issues with TATEMS. You should turn off virtual store in windows to avoid these issues.
If your database file (tatems2005be.mdb) was in the windows virtual store then you will need to relocate it back to the "TATEMS 2005" folder in either the C:\Program Files\ or in C:\Program Files (x86)\ folder.
The Virtual Store in Windows Vista and in Windows 7, 10 and 11 can cause updating issues and database location issues with TATEMS. You should turn off virtual store in windows to avoid these issues.
For a quick term fix:
Close TATEMS then in the Windows Explorer (files and folders) go to :
%LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore
then look for and open Program Files (x86)
then rename the TATEMS 2005 folder in the Virtual store to TATEMS 2005-VS
then go back and open TATEMS and it should be pointing to the database file in the TATEMS 2005 folder that I sent you.
